Weekend #4 of principle photography has commenced on ‘Abandoned Dead’ in Los Angeles. Friday night’s shooting in Downey was long and arduous, but with the great talent and patience of our cast and crew, plus some very chilling and realistic blood makeup effects by Hannah Sherer, we are off to great start to a very productive weekend! Special thanks go to the talents of our Director of Photography, Robert Adams, who is achieving some spectacular atmospheric and moody scene lighting in the classic ‘Horror-Noir’ style! Stay tuned here for still photos, coming soon!

Judith O’Dea has been signed to star as Dr. Pamela Myers in ‘Abandoned Dead,’ a Nightwatcher Films spokesperson announced today.
The actress has appeared in multiple independent films, including ‘October Moon,’ and ‘Living Dead,’ but is best known for her role as Barbra Hamilton in the groundbreaking 1968 George Romero classic ‘Night of the Living Dead.’
The Horror feature will be directed by Mark W. Curran, who will also produce from his original screenplay.
“I am thrilled to have an actress of Miss O’Dea’s pedigree on the production,” Curran said, “her considerable talent is a welcome and greatly appreciated addition to an already-stellar cast.”
